This program is ideal for districts that recognize:

What is Special Ed Untangled?
A structured, retention-focused support and training model that helps schools and districts better support special education teachers—especially those in their early years.
It focuses on:
-
Practical, role-specific professional learning
-
Behavior and classroom support
-
Case management and IEP development
-
Collaboration with general education staff
-
Ongoing mentoring and system alignment
Rather than one-time training, it builds confidence, consistency, and capacity over time—reducing burnout and stabilizing special education services.
Special Ed Untangled
A One Year Support & Training Model for New Special Education Teachers
Special education teachers don’t leave because they don’t care. They leave because they are overwhelmed, unsupported, and expected to figure out complex systems alone.
Special Ed Untangled is a one year, high-impact support model designed specifically for new and nearly new special education teachers (Years 1–3).
This program gives districts a practical, structured way to build confidence, consistency, and retention starting from day one.

Meet Brandie
Brandie Rosen, M.S.Ed., is a veteran special education teacher, behavior specialist, and educational consultant with nearly 30 years of experience supporting students, teachers, and school systems.
Throughout her career, Brandie has worked alongside educators in real classrooms, helping them navigate IEPs, behavior challenges, inclusion, compliance, and collaboration in ways that are practical, realistic, and sustainable. Her work is grounded in one core belief: special education teachers succeed when they are given clear systems, strong support, and the right tools at the right time.
Brandie is the creator of Behavior Untangled: The Complete System, IEPs Untangled, Special Ed Untangled, and Leadership Launchpad, skill-based programs used by teachers, schools, and districts nationwide. Her approach bridges the gap between research and real-world practice, giving educators tools they can use immediately rather than adding one more thing to manage.
Through Special Ed Untangled, Brandie brings together decades of classroom experience, system-level insight, and proven frameworks to help districts support new teachers, strengthen consistency, and reduce burnout. Her work helps educators spend less time feeling overwhelmed and more time doing what they entered the profession to do: serve students well.
